It another mid week of football where will see 12th place Frankfurt travel to meet the 17th place Werder Bremen. Both teams are both in good form and they will be looking to continue with it.

Werder Bremen didn’t have the same approach in the first part of the season, once they played open and tried to wins games with scoring one goal more than the rivals.

Frankfurt sit five points clear of 16th spot, which would see them involved in a relegation playoff, and a further two ahead of their opponents on Wednesday night.

Goncalo Paciencia remain sidelined through injury and with his first XI from the weekend having came through 77 minutes apiece,

Bremen boss Kohfeldt would also prefer to keep changes to a minimum, he has concerns over Leonardo Bittencourt and Milot Rashica.

Bittencourt was forced off at half time against Schalke 04, with Rashica being replaced by Davie Selke before the hour mark after sustaining a knock.

Frankfurt will be without Lucas Torro, who picked up two yellow cards in added-on time against Wolfsburg.
